Pärnu, 2026 – The Baltic Open and Estonian Masters Championships for athletes aged 35+ will take place at Pärnu Rannastaadion on 8–9 August. The strong field confirms that sport is for every age: athletes from 21 countries will be on the start line, making this the largest event of its kind in Estonia in recent decades. Participants include several world and European champions and record holders in their age groups.
EKVA organises the competition in the firm belief that sport brings people together, keeps the body and mind healthy, offers fulfilment and brings joy throughout life. The event brings together like-minded people who want to set an example, make new friends at home and abroad, discover new sporting venues and share their passion for sport.
The high level of participation is no coincidence. Masters athletics for athletes aged 35+ is a growing success story in Europe and around the world, and Estonia is at the heart of that story today.
According to the organisers, the strong interest in the event is easy to explain: athletics has many participants, its disciplines suit athletes of all ages, offer challenges in both endurance and speed, and are accessible to everyone.
All athletics enthusiasts are invited to come and support the athletes.
